Parcel force can only pay out for items lost or damaged in transit where a copy of the original purchase receipt or bank statement is supplied to us should we need to make a claim on your behalf. Items without proof of purchase are not covered by Parcel forces insurance.

If the tread has simply worn down then it should be ok to just have a new Vibram Sole fitted, if there are any signs of cracks or crumbling around the sides of the midsoles then more work will be needed. We always advise you to contact us via email [email protected]

At Cheshire Shoe Repairs we are all qualified craftsmen.  Cheshire Shoe Repairs has been converting trainers into cricket boots for over 30 years and traditional shoes for over 40 years, this is a highly skilled job.

Over 30 years ago we were approached by Asics who wanted us to put spikes on to their trainers as they sponsored the England Cricket Team but didn’t make cricket boots.  We ended up doing 1000’s of pairs for them until they eventually designed their own cricket boots.  From then on many of the professionals and amateurs have kept coming to us as they prefer to have the latest styles of trainers converted.

As standard there are 7 spikes on the front and 4 in the heel.  This can be amended to however you like, just let us know on your order form.

You can have your cricket conversion done with either white, black, blue, navy blue, grey, brown or red.  Just please state the colour you would like on your order form.

Half spike refers to having only the front half of the trainer converted.  This means we will not touch the heels of your trainers.

At Cheshire Shoe Repairs we are all qualified craftsmen. Cheshire Shoe Repairs has been repairing climbing shoes for over 25 years and is a highly skilled job using the latest rubber and technology.

In our experience climbing shoes that require resoling usually require new rands. Even if the rand is not yet punctured with a hole it could have worn very thin. Toe patches can only be fitted when we are resoling the climbing shoe as they wrap under the sole. If once we receive your shoes and you have not asked for the rands to be done we may contact you if we feel they need to be done, there will be an extra charge for this work which you will find on our order form.

Any climbing shoe can be repaired with any type of rubber, there is a description on the climbing shoe page that goes into more detail of their pros & cons. You can always write on the order form that you want us to repair using the original rubber if possible or it’s closest match if it’s a brand that we don’t stock.

We have a wide range of rubber that covers most brands of climbing shoes but there are a few we don’t have. These can still be repaired with one of the rubbers we stock.

We finish all our climbing shoes with an edge. There are some climbing shoes that have no edge technology where the edge is rounded off(eg La Sportiva Genius). Please make sure you tick the no edge box on our order form if you want us remove the sharp edge.
