Yes, the cost is on our order form. All items are sent out via Parcelforce 24, they are insured for up to a maximum of £200 a pair for hiking boots and £100 for trainers.
Parcel force can only pay out for items lost or damaged in transit where a copy of the original purchase receipt or bank statement is supplied to us should we need to make a claim on your behalf. Items without proof of purchase are not covered by Parcel forces insurance.
Please check the top of our web page for the latest repair times, this can change throughout the year as we have busy periods.
If you need them urgently and depending on how busy we are, we can sometimes offer an express service that we charge an extra £10 per pair for. If you’re looking to take advantage of this you would need to contact us to see if its available at the time.
At Cheshire Shoe Repairs we are all qualified craftsmen. Cheshire Shoe Repairs has been repairing outdoor footwear for over 40 years, this is a highly skilled job. All of our soles are manufactured by Vibram which are the best on the market.
If the tread has simply worn down then it should be ok to just have a new Vibram Sole fitted, if there are any signs of cracks or crumbling around the sides of the midsoles then more work will be needed. We always advise you to contact us via email [email protected]
Include some pictures of the damaged areas, this way we can assess the work needed and provide you with a quote.
